Police are investigating after a body was found inside of a burning car in Woodbridge.
Around 7:47 a.m. Thursday fire crews responded to the Veterans Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr.
A car was on fire inside the park, according to Prince William County police. Crews found a body inside of the car after the fire was put out.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Authorities are investigating the cause of the death. The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
Police said the incident is currently under investigation.
