At least two dozen people have been displaced after a fire broke out inside of an apartment in Silver Spring Thursday morning.
The fire happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Rd., according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
Some residents were helped out by crews, officials said.
Officials stated that at least two dozen people have been displaced. There is significant damage to the apartment building.
