ROCKVILLE, MD (WUSA9) — New video shows the aftermath of a two-alarm fire that broke out at recycling plant in Md.

The fire broke out on Friday afternoon at Georgetown Paper Stock at 14820 Southlawn Lane, near E. Gude Drive.

Hundreds of fire crews were called out to attack the fire and one million gallons of water was used to put it out.

Firefighters remained on the scene overnight to monitor hot spots and keep smoldering piles of debris from re-igniting.

The plant included large amounts of recycling cardboard, paper and cloth material.

Fire officials said the fire is now completely out and the property has been turned over to Georgetown Paperstock.
