Police search for suspect in Sterling sexual assault

STERLING, Va. — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who they say sexually assaulted a woman at a home in Sterling.

Around 11:30 p.m., authorities were called to the 120 block of N. Duke Drive for the report of an assault. The victim told deputies she woke up to an unknown man sexually assaulting her. The woman said the suspect fled as soon as she woke up. 

The suspect in the case was described by the victim as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-years-old with curly dark hair and a slight build. 

LCSO and Virginia State Police searched the area but were unable to find the man.
