COLUMBIA, Md. (WUSA9) -- A 28-year-old man arrested for child pornography is believed to live in a home that runs a registered day care, according to Maryland State Police.
Joseph Joe Garza of Walkersville was charged with one count of distribution of child pornography 21 counts of possessing child pornography and sexual abuse of a minor. after an investigation and search and seizure at his home on Inspiration Avenue Thursday morning. According to police, a digital forensics team found several images and videos of child pornography.
They say Garza also told police about his sexual contact with minors.
He was arrested without incident and transported to the Frederick County Detention Center.
