FALLS CHURCH, VA (WUSA9) — A Virginia school that was renamed after a previous name controversy revealed the school's new logo this week.
The school was previously named after a Confederate solider that sparked a name change debate within the Fairfax County community.
In October 2017, the Fairfax County School Board voted to rename the school Justice High School.
In January 2018, the students voted for the school's new mascot to be the Wolves.
The school board released the new logo on the county's website. The logo is a large "J" that represents Justice High School and intertwines with a wolf that represents the school's mascot.
