ARLINGTON, VA (WUSA9) — Police have arrested a suspect wanted in an attempted sexual assault that happened on Friday.
Investigators have charged 30-year-old Jermaine Johnson, from Arlington, with attempted rape and burglary.
Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., police said Johnson forced his way into a residence in the 800 Block of S. Frederick Street, took out a knife and attempted to sexually assault a woman. He then fled the scene.
The woman suffered minor physical injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
