Attend college workshop, have your college application fees paid for

A local non-profit is holding a college prep workshop to help you through the process of preparing, applying and paying for college. All attendants will have all of their college application fees paid for.

WASHINGTON - A local non-profit is holding a college prep workshop to help you through the process of preparing, applying and paying for college. All attendants will have all of their college application fees paid for.

The IMPACT College Prep Workshop is an opportunity for 150 students entering grades 9-12 and parents in the D.C. Metropolitan area to receive free expert advice about the college application process, standardized testing, paying for college, high school preparation, and more.

The event will be held May 20 at City of Praise Family Ministries in Landover.

IMPACTdmv is a nonprofit organization that provides 14–30-year-olds with resources designed to promote intellectual and artistic growth through early adulthood.

IMPACTdmv has helped more than 1,000 adolescents and young adults prepare for a successful future.
