DC Chinese New Year’s Parade—Washington, D.C.

The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association is holding its biggest and most diverse parade yet to ring in the Chinese New Year! On Feb. 18, starting at 2pm in Gallery Place, join Chinese folk dancers, firecrackers, kung fu demonstrations, floats and more as the procession winds through Chinatown.

7th Annual Winter Weekend Sale—Middleburg, VA

In the mood to score some weekend deals? Take a trip to small-town America for Middleburg’s 7th Annual Winter Weekend Sale. The boutiques and restaurants in Middleburg will be offering discounts on clothing and food all weekend long. Blue and white balloons mark participating shops.

From Digital to Damask—Baltimore, MD

Maryland-based artist Annet Couwenberg pays homage to her Dutch heritage through her intimate textile exhibition at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The exhibit reveals the intersection of science, art, technology and history that makes textiles an art form.
